
Suan Lum Night Bazaar - this is a quick taxi ride from Silom road, next to Lumpini Park. The Bazaar opens at.6 p.m. and closes at 12 midnight. Normally it has live entertainment, and shops of varying sizes. From clothes to shoes, bric-a-bracs, plants, ornaments, bed sheets and fabrics, trinkets and other r ~~ souvenir stuff, the place has it all.
Patpong Night Market - this has always been one of the must night shopping destinations for tourists. Tile place is busy and chaotic from the moment the suit sets. Go-Go bars lining both sides of the road add to the fun. Many stalls are also set up along Silom and Suriwongse Road. Prepare to bargain if*you really intend to buy
Ratchada-Lad Phrao Junction Night Market - this is open oil Saturdays from early evening to around 11 p.m. To get there, take the MRT to either Lad Phrao or Ratchadapisek station. Here, you can find really low-priced trainers, leather bags, shoes, jeans, books, CDs, antiques, furniture, home decorative items, and an assortment of knick-knacks. Although most of the goods are pre-owned, there are also brand-new products available. Browsing inside the market, you can't miss a long stretch of cool vintage motorbikes and scooters. There arc also many food stalls around if you feel hungry. If trendy city shopping malls arc not your favorite place to shop, this is a good alternative.


Klong Thom Market - this is the place to go if you are looking for secondhand goods and stuff. Open every Saturday from 5 p.m. onwards through late afternoon of Sunday, this night market is popularly known to locals as "Flashlight Market" because buyers of used items will need a flashlight to see the goods. Klong Thom Market is especially crowded on late Saturday nights. It has everything from car spare parts, DVDs and CDs, electronic devices to clothing items and toys. Besides the roadside stalls, there is also a three-story Klong Thom Center (close to Worachak Road) where car accessories and toys are for sale. If you want to avoid the crowd, the best time to go is Sunday morning from 8 a.m. to I I a.m.
